Until they work that out, the port battle, land expansion of the HIGH player population Nations will continue. Though they do mention port wipes, it still sounds like additional changes associated with the port wipes are still in the proposal stages with no time line. Naval base must be protected at all costs to be able to expand. Port investments will also slow down the conquest because to make flags you will have to build naval bases. Alternative solution is to allow setting port defence windows in clean uncaptured port by nation vote. We are thinking of making all ports except for capitals neutral, giving all nations an equal chance. The Port wipe is mentioned in this post -Īfter port investments and land in battles are added into the game there will be a port reset. But never explained what "soft" means or their reasoning for the potential wipe itself, nor a time line. However, the DEV Team has mentioned in the past about a potential soft economy wipe. I would welcome a port wipe myself, but until they actually say, "port wipe" lets not start more rumors than what is already out there. Even your additional response here with a link to the posting concerning changes in battles, there is no mention of port wipes.
